Founded by Craig Guthrie, an experienced trainer and assessor with a background in civil construction, mining, and the Australian Army, our academy is built on real-world industry knowledge and a practical, no-nonsense approach to training.
With over a decade of experience in civil construction and mining expertise gained on-site, Craig understands what it takes to operate safely and efficiently in high-demand industries. He has worked as a crew leader in civil construction, operated a wide range of heavy machinery, and transitioned into mining to expand his industry expertise.

- Companies looking to certify staff on-site.
We provide on-site training across:
- Sale, Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Morwell, and surrounding areas.
- Melbourne and other locations upon request.
Not necessarily. Many business clients provide their own equipment, but we can source machinery if required.
The duration depends on the course and experience level of the trainee. Most courses can be completed in a day with a combination of theory, practical training, and assessment.
- Machine tickets: $469 per course
- Recognised Prior Learning (RPL): $269 per course

Participants should bring:
Photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence or passport).
Steel-capped boots and appropriate workwear.
Any previous certifications (if applying for RPL).
