Duration: The duration of this course will vary depending on the student's ability to complete the logbook training and theory assessments. Once your trainer has reviewed the logbook and marked the theory assessments, your trainer will then book you in to conduct the practical assessment.
Description: A Skid Steer Loader is a self-propelled, wheeled, or rubber-tracked machine used within the civil industry. A Skid Steer Loader's primary purpose is to lift, transport and discharge material and accomplishes steering by skidding the wheels or rubber tracks on one side of the machine. It comes equipped with several attachments, including a 4-in-1 Bucket, Backhoe, Ripper, Trencher and Grader Blade. For the Skid Steer Loader to be used economically and safely, the operator must receive adequate training. This course focuses on the skills and knowledge required to Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.
