Duration: The duration of this course will vary depending on the student's ability to complete the logbook training and theory assessments. Once your trainer has reviewed the logbook and marked the theory assessments, your trainer will then book you in to conduct the practical assessment.
Description: A Roller is a self-propelled, articulated wheeled, drummed, or padfoot machine used within the civil industry. A Roller's primary purpose is to compact various construction materials by combining the following compaction methods: Static Weight, Kneading or Vibration. For the Roller to be used economically and safely, the operator must receive adequate training. This course focuses on the skills and knowledge required to Conduct Roller Operations in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.
